In Silicon Valley, home prices are still rising, while in the East Bay, prices have leveled off because of more available homes. The North Bay is dealing with inventory shortages, while San Francisco is seeing fewer listings, especially for single-family homes.
Single-family homes are in high demand across the region, but competition for condos is weaker. Sellers generally have the upper hand, except in Napa and San Francisco's condo markets where buyers might find some good opportunities. More in the Local Lowdown below!
